Sneaky Peek - The Gin Bowl

I always find acetate a little tricky to photograph, especially if I don't want my reflection included.

This is The Gin Bowl - please drink responsibly.

I stamped in black onto acetate, I then coloured the reverse of the acetate with a mixture of Diamond Glaze and dye based reinkers.  I then stamped again onto vellum and cut out the bowl and table and stuck this on the reverse, this helps mute the wood grain down to a softer pattern.

Sneaky Peek - Petunia

Let me introduce you to Miss Petunia Pig

the latest design from Sherry West.

Petunia will be joining us on Hochanda on Sunday 19th at 10am.

In the background is also our new Wood Grain stamp by Judikins.

I stamped Petunia on vellum and coloured on the reverse with pens.

Wood grain is stamped in Spun Sugar onto white card that I pre-coloured with Spun Sugar.

I then cut the image into 1cm strips and edged with the same pink inkpad.

I was going for the look of pink wood slats.

These stamps and more released on Friday.

India Postage Stamps

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and are able to connect with family even if you can't see them in person. 

I chose an image of Tulips as I just love them, I've no idea why but I always have.   The embankment in our town usually has a beautiful display of Tulips but I don't think driving (the short drive) to see them is something we will be doing this year.

Elephant Safari

You may have noticed that DT member Irene Carolan is a pro at shading with alcohol pens.

Using our Travels In India stamps she has created this gorgeous pastel card.

Tropical Beach Huts

The Beach Hut Scene by Teri Sherman has lots of great detail.  And here Irene has teamed it up with the palm trees from our JudiKins Travels in India stamp set.

Taj Mahal - Watercoloured

Vicky coloured direct onto the rubber with waterbased pens and after a huff and puff stamped onto the card and moved the colour with a waterbrush.

Beach Postage Stamps

I'm not much of a beach person, I prefer the pool, but knowing I'm not allowed to go to the beach does make me miss it.

Irene Carolan made this card for our last TV show using JudiKins Beaches and JudiKins Postage Frame, all beautifully coloured with alcohol pens.

Irene's India

All coloured with Lyra Aquacolor Crayons.

Beach Hut Twinchie

The smallest of the Beach Huts stamped onto a Twinchie and after colouring it has been glazed with Amazing Glaze and then placed inside the Flourished Frame.
