Paisley Background and White Stazon Pigment

I wanted to try out the new Stazon Pigment Inkpads that we just received and what better way to test a new range of inkpads then to go for the hardest to achieve - white, and on a solid background stamp (Paisley Background).
As you can see from my results this is a really good inkpad.
It is a solvent based pigment ink that I was only able to remove from the rubber using a permanent ink cleaner so probably not best on clear stamps.
It is super sticky and smells like the old Stazon Opaque inkpads, which is not terrible but not like the regular Stazon.
The Paisley on pink I did ink and stamp twice but on the black I only inked once.
I finished with our new Clear stamps Wavy Words.
I don't have the new Stazon Pigment on the website yet but you can order by calling us on 01234 855833 or you can drop in and collect.

Wavy Banners

Vicky has just had the chance to play with our new (first ever) clear stamp set - Wavy Words.
She coloured strips of card with Distress Oxides and then once dry she stamped the banners and sentiments on.
The background is our new Paisley Background with the same Distress Oxides but the stamp has been spritzed to give it a softer look.

Exciting New Clear Stamps

Did you see our first set of clear stamps - Wavy Words
But don't worry the majority of our stamps will still be rubber, especially as so many of the techniques we like to use are best done with rubber stamps.

Available on our website now.

Gold Leaf Weeping Willow

This is one of the cards Vicky created during our show on Saturday.
She stamped the Weeping Willow with clear embossing ink and covered with Sticky Stuff embossing powder and heated.  Once heated the white powder turns clear and is sticky.
Vicky then layed over a sheet of our Red Oxidising Art Metal gold Leaf.

A Cupboard of Pandas

I read that a group of Pandas is officially called an embarrassment of pandas but that is just too weird.
The other commonly used names are a cupboard of pandas or a bamboo of pandas.
I decided a cupboard of pandas was the cutest option.
Vicky created this card but stamping the bottom left panda first and then masking him with Eclipse Tape before stamping the next panda, masking each one as she went.
Bamboo Sprig has been used in the background.
