This card was made by Lesley using Distress Inkpads and a selection of A Stamp In The Hand unmounted stamps.

Travel In-Out Card

Another one from the retreat. Same as yesterday but this time using a selection of stamps from JudiKins and Printworks. All colour used is from Distress Inkpads.

Japanese In-Out Card

This is one of the cards we made on the retreat. Inspired by the cards that Joyce from A Stamp In The Hand made.

All inks used on the card are Distress Inkpads and the stamps are from the unmounted sets by A Stamp In The Hand.

Deco Shadow Box

Lesley created this shadow box using the Mica Gloss with the Deco Lady and Klimt cube for the border.

Mica Gloss Shadow Boxes

We made these on our retreat using Mica Gloss, Roxs and Beads. We have used black glossy card and stamped into the Mica Gloss as well as stamping with the Mica Gloss.

Retreat

Well, I am now back at home resting. We've been at our first retreat just down the road in Newport Pagnell and I have to say we had a thoroughly good time, although extremely exhausting.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the ladies that joined us for the weekend and made it so much fun and very rewarding. We very much look forward to seeing you at our next retreat.

I'm off to bed now to, hopefully, have a very long sleep.

Sneaky Peek

We will be live on Ideal World on Thursday 18th June at 11am, here are a couple of sneaky peeks of stamps being featured in the show . . .
This is Architectural Studies by Judikins. It has been stamped onto clear shrink plastic, shrunk and then placed inside the Postage Frame.

The cat is called Cat Walk by Judikins. She has been stamped in pink and then the small flower has been stamped and embossed in white over the top.

Four Leaves

DT Brenda made some cards for us using the JK 2874I Four Leaves stamp. The top card is stamped with Versamark and then covered with Pearl-ex or similar powder.

The second card is stamped onto a glossy brayered background.

Amanda made these gorgeous cards for our Demo Day last month. She has used the unmounted Bird set from A Stamp In The Hand. Unfortunately A Stamp In The Hand no longer produce stamps but we have a limited number available here.

Kay's Demo Day Artwork

All these have been created with Stamps by Judith rubber stamps with the odd DeNami or JudiKins flourish in the background.

I sent Kay a set of 36 Polycolor pencils to use in this artwork and whilst Kay did love the pencils she complained that she didn't have her favourite colours to work with.

But I think you will agree with me that these cards are beautiful and it was worth getting Kay out of her comfort zone.
