I've been meaning to show you a couple of my birthday cards but we have been so busy in the shop with the sale that I haven't had time for blogging this week. This one is using the alcohol inks and the compressed air.

Alcohol Inks & Compressed Air

Vicky has been playing with some of the new Alcohol Inks and can of compressed air (you know the stuff you use to clean your keyboard with). And these are some of the results . . .

The flower stamp is a Stamps by Judith Fine Aster.

I had a conversation with Stamps by Judith last week, to again ask them if we could include their stamps on our website for sale. But they are adamant that they want to help bricks and mortar stores and therefore their stamps cannot be sold online. Apologies to those of you that can't get to our store but if you do have a local stamp store and they don't yet have any Stamps by Judith stamps tell them to call us and we will be happy to supply them.

My Birthday

We've not long been back from spending my birthday at Alton Towers, we had a great day and got absolutely soaking wet on a couple of rides but luckily the sun was shining on us so it didn't take too long to dry out.

I was worried it would be really busy, being a Sunday, but I think the longest we had to queue was about 20 minutes.

These are some of the cards that Vicky was demonstrating on Sunday at Artstamps Newbury. Most of the stamps used are Stamps by Judith, except for the background layer stamps. Artstamps Newbury

We are heading off to Newbury today, the show is open Saturday and Sunday if you want to come along and see us. Kay Carley is demonstrating for us on Saturday and Vicky is demonstrating on Sunday.
Whilst at the show I don't have access to the internet so any comments you leave won't be visible until Monday.

Velvet Books

This is something else from our retreat. Sheets of Velveteen paper cut with the Large Curved Rectangle Nestabilities and then embossed through the Cuttlebug. They make great little gift books.

Cats, Cats, Cats

This is the Purring cat by JudiKins and this one snuggles nicely under the chin of Cat Walk. Calligraphic Flowers has been used for the overhanging branches.

This is the larger of the two cats, Cat Walk by JudiKins. I love how Gill has made him masculine by adding the tie.
