Fusible Fibres

This is another of Frankie's cards using the Gone Fishin' boys. I believe Frankie has created this with Fusible Fibres/Angel Hair but I'm sure she will correct me if I'm wrong.

White Fence

For this card Esther has embossed the Courting Couple with white onto a burgundy card.

Multi-coloured Dancing Girls

Esther created this card using the Dancing Girls from the Playful Girls unmounted rubber stamp set and it looks like she stamped them with a multi-coloured inkpad. The background was also stamped with the same inkpad onto vellum.

Fishing Boy

Frankie is new to our Design Team and the Silhouette show was her first challenge. I think you'll agree she did a great job. She might even post up a comment for us to explain how she made this card from the Gone Fishin' unmounted rubber stamp set.

Stepper Card

You can see us on Create & Craft today at 12 noon. Esther stamped all the images from our Playful Girls set in Walnut Ink Distress ink and then coloured some old book pages with Distress Inks.

Relaxing in a Hammock

Esther created this card using our Sunday Morning set. She coloured the background with Distress Inks and stamped the silhouette with Ranger Archival.

Trio in Paris

Esther created this card by colouring the background and images with Distress Inkpads and then stamping the Trio and embossing in black.

The Trio are from our Courting Couples Set, the gate is from our Parisian Chic set and the tree is from our Sunday Morning set.

These images are from the Courting Couples set and Brenda has embossed them all in white onto the blue card - simples!

A box of samples arrived yesterday from Brenda - as always they are all totally fabulous but I think this one is my favourite. Brenda has stamped the image using Brilliance Orchid so it has a lovely sheen to it.

This is from one of our new stamp sheets featuring in our Create & Craft show Thursday 26th at 12 noon.

Fairy Badges

This is the make & take I was running in store on Saturday. Fairy badges made using the small Tiara Fairy and the acetate wings from the large Tiara Fairy. Stamped on EcoArtboard and coloured with Promarkers.
I then masked the fairy and overstamped with Music in gold Encore ink.

For the acetate wings I stamped onto the acetate with Stazon and turned over and coloured with Promarkers on the opposite side, these are then glued onto the back of the EcoArtboard.

New Saturday Cardmaking Crop

Saturday 21st May is the first of our Cardmaking Crops.

What is a Cardmaking Crop? - Just like a scrapbooking crop, you hire a table for the day and bring your stash with you so you can stamp and make cards without interruption or distraction.

£5 for a table (refreshments not included) 10am-4pm. Use of our stamps and equipment is not included.

Free Make & Takes

In store this Saturday Vicky and I will be running free Make & Takes all day.

Plus we have our Table Top Sale where customers have rented a table for the day and are selling their unwanted tools, stamps, and crafting stash so make sure you come along and grab a bargain.

Paris Summerhouse

A summer in Paris . . . . wouldn't that be lovely!

For this card Esther used the Parisian Chic unmounted stamp set. The background has been created with the postmark stamped in brown and also embossed in white.

Design Team member Esther has been very busy with our new Parian Chic unmounted stamp set. This one also features a small square of either Stampbord or EcoArtboard.

Apologies

Apologies to any Design Team applicants waiting to hear if you've made it onto our team. I was planning to go through all the emails and make the announcement yesterday but I've been struck down by some kind of flu like bug. I was in bed asleep by 4pm yesterday!!!

I am hoping that I'm up to the challenge today and will be able to make an announcement this evening.

Talking about this evening - our store is open until 9pm tonight.

Scenery with Stile

This is the other card that Vicky created on TV using the Scenic stamp set plus the Stile from the Rural Scenery set and tree stump from the Gypsy Caravan set.

3 fairies

This is the second card that I made during the show using our 3 Fairies unmounted set. The toadstools are from the Rural Scenery set.
I stamped them with a Marvy black inkpad and then coloured with Promarkers - yes I have been using Promarkers!
