Fairy Bunches
This is Fairy Bunches, one of our unmounted rubber stamp sets. Now, I absolutely adore her hair because it is the hair I always wanted - curly! But not everyone appreciates her bunches so Lesley created an alternative look for her . . . .

Cardmaking Weekend
Wow . . . . we have just about recovered from our Cardmaking Weekend. 18 ladies stamping and cardmaking all weekend.
We work in 3 groups of 6 - myself, Vicky and Lesley move around the room teaching each project 3 times. We found it much more beneficial for everybody if we teach in small groups rather than trying to teach the whole room at the same time.
We took Monday off to recover, I spent the morning studying and then took a nap after lunch before collecting the kids from school.
We are repeating this weekend on 16th & 17th July and have a couple of spaces left, if you would like to join us please get in touch.
Alternatively we have a couple of Christmas Cardmaking weekends in October - call for details.
We are now busy preparing our Christmas stamps for the next TV show and packing ready for Artstamps Newbury this weekend.

Bee Happy
This is a card Vicky created for the show using our Bee Happy stamp set and Sentiment Circles No.2. You can just about see on the sentiment there is a little shrink plastic bee too. On the background the small bees are stamped in black and then a few of them she coloured their wings in white.

Hot Off The Press
We've recently received a delivery from Hot Off The Press and it included some new templates (as well as some paper packs and really cute stamps): Above was made using the Pretty Pleated Flowers Template.
Above was made with the Mini Layered Cake Template.
These are from the 3D Flowers Template.
Above is from the A Cuppa Template.
And seeing as it is now June and Wimbledon will soon be upon us I thought I'd remind you about the Strawberry Template.

Apologies
Apologies for not posting for a few days.
I've spent the last few days slaving over the stamp press and all day today studying - I have just completed my first assignment which was 1500 words, when I started this morning I was struggling to achieve the required number of words but within a few hours I had exceeded the maximum and had to start deleting them.
So I have neglected my blog this week.
Our design team are (hopefully) busy playing with our new stamps ready for next Sunday's TV show. I'll have some sneak peaks later in the week.

Mica Bench
Vicky created this card using the Sunday Morning stamp set.
Firstly, Vicky stamped the image with a black pigment inkpad and embossed with Sticky Stuff embossing powder, she then applied Mica powders to the sticky area.
To create the background Vicky sprayed the card with chalk misters and then stamped the trees in black ink.

Gold leaf background
This is another card I completed during our last TV show, original by Lesley.
Firstly stamp the Courting Couple onto a laminating sheet with a black pigment inkpad, the Brilliance Graphite Black works well for this. Then emboss with black embossing powder.
Once cool remove backing and cover with gold leaf (gilding flakes).
On the front of the laminating sheet stamp the words from Potpourri 1 and swirls with Ranger Archival Black and heat set. Stamp cream creased card with Vintage No.1 background in Gold Encore.

Wedgewood Card
This is another card I made on the TV, created by Lesley and based on an idea by Brenda - the Wedgewood card.
All images stamped and embossed in white onto blue card.
The Dancing Girls and the corner are both from the Playful Girls stamp set.
