Oops
Wow, ten days have managed to fly by since my last post - this year is just zooming along.
I got home late on Saturday night from Artstamps Wrexham so unfortunately missed all the excitement of the Olympic opening ceremony until I was able to watch a recording this afternoon. Julie and I did manage to catch just a glimpse on Friday night of some of the teams entering the stadium, and we were totally bemused by what looked like giant copper she-wees! But having driven for 4 hours to get to Wrexham and then building the stand we could not keep our eyes open long enough to find out what they were, until we saw the news on Saturday morning - then it all made sense. Just amazing.
We have been working on our next TV show which is on Thursday 9th August, it is Christmas, we have a couple of new designs for the show plus some favourites from last year and our Design Team have been working hard to bring you more fabulous samples.
This is closely followed by Stamperama at Stevenage on Sunday 12th August and then the following weekend is the new British Craft Festival at Donington Park sponsored by Create & Craft.
After all this it will be nearly September and time for our 20th birthday celebrations to begin. We are having a Demonstration Day in store on the last Saturday of September and do hope you will be able to join us.
I will be back with some new artwork and new designs very soon.

Liquid Applique Snowman
Vicky created this card using our Happy Snowman and after colouring covered him in Liquid Applique which she left overnight before heating gently.

To create this pop-up card I stamped and masked the parcels to create the stack. I stamped Mr & Mrs Claus onto white card, coloured with Promarkers and cut out. I used Pop-Blocks from the JudiKins range of Popeze to fix them into position and make them pop-up.

St Nicholas in Red
Vicky created this card by stamping St Nicholas with a red Distress inkpad and then using a waterbrush to pull some of the red across the image.

A Simple Santa
I just love this Santa. I wanted to make a really easy and simple Christmas card so all I did was colour him with Promarkers and cut out leaving a white border, I did decoupage his hat. Mr & Mrs Claus

All these cards are by Esther using our Rodney Reindeer set. Did you notice how Esther used the hoof print as a heart?
