HOCHANDA TV

We are on Hochanda TV Saturday morning at 8am and 11am so I apologise for the bags under my eyes now but we have to get up at 4am to get to the studio for 6am and be on air at 8am!

These shows are all about our best selling stamps and accessories of 2019 and would you believe one of these stamps was also a best seller in 2018 - I won't tell you which one, you will need to tune in to find out.

The cat is out of the bag . . .

I have been very quiet on here for some time but that is because we have been beavering away in the background on something very big and very exciting.

And now we can finally share with you what we have been working on for the past 6 months.

 

Crafterama at Ally Pally

1st-2nd August 2020 at the Great Hall, Alexandra Palace in London.

A beautiful iconic building with magnificent views over London and somewhere that we spent a considerable amount of our time as teenagers (quite a while ago!)

Vicky stamped her in Distress Oxide and then waterbrushed the dotted background.

A couple of cards that Vicky made using our Halloween stamp set.

On the bottom card the Mummies spin around.

Aurora Layered

I stamped Aurora a couple of times onto card I had already coloured with Distress Oxides, the base layer here is Antique Linen.

The second one was onto Festive Berries, I cut out the flowers from this one to lay on top of my Antique Linen image.

I added more colour with a waterbrush and the Oxides.

I am flying off to Switzerland today to teach classes at Atelier Rageboge in Winterthur.

I will endeavour to take lots of photos to share with you on my return but I am teaching most of the time so not sure how many opportuntities I will have for seeing the beautiful sights of Switzerland.

Celtic Knot - Dragon

We are on Hochanda TV today at 4pm.

Teri Sherman has designed lots of amazing Celtic Knots and to start with we have chosen to make the Dragon and the Poppy into rubber stamps, they are sized to fit onto Artist trading Coins.

Here I have stamped and embossed in black onto kraft card and then coloured with pearlescent paints.

A Robin's Christmas

Featuring in our show on HOCHANDA on Thursday, this is A Robin's Christmas

Designed by Teri Sherman.

Vicky stamped the image using Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire and then used a waterbrush to move a little colour around.

This stamp and others will be available to purchase from Thursday morning from our website.

Magical Christmas

Our splat stamps are suitable for any occasion.

What you can't see from this photo is that the embossing powder I used is Black Diamond, a black embossing powder with sparkle in it by JudiKins.

Watercoloured Kitty

I used the 13Arts Rainbow colour watercolour powders for the background and with a waterbrush to colour the Christmas Kitty (designed by Sherry West).

Pistachio Green and Sky Blue are the 2 powders that I used.

Happy Stampers

Our shop is closed today and tomorrow as we are away in Port Sunlight at the 

Happy Stampers North West Stamp Festival.

It is a ticket only event so if you don't already have a ticket it is unlikely you will be able to get in to the show.

I can't believe this is my first blog post of September and it's already the 19th 

(my 21st Wedding Anniversary).

I used our Large Poinsettia Head (by Teri Sherman) to stamp onto white shrink plastic with black Stazon.

Coloured with Brushable pens.
