BamPop

This is half of the BamPop paper pack. Seeing it in the flesh it is even better than I thought. Hopefully sometime this week I will find time to go through all my hundreds of photos because I just have to do something with this paper - isn't it amazing? I don't know who designs for BamPop but I want to meet them.

Nothing much else happened yesterday, we are busy sending out the mailshot to all our members. This one contains information on the DT, workshops in October and the Mardi Gras TV show products. We will be sending out another mailshot mid September when the SuperSaver leaflet arrives.

Well it is now 7am so I better go get ready for work!

Delivery

Well, we got our delivery today from our freight forwarder. We have the new BamPop Vol.3, this time the paper is in a pad but there is also some loose sheets now available as well as some new stamps and die cut frames. These new papers are amazing and truly unique.

We also received the tool kits for the Bind It All.
The other box we received had lots of bits and pieces like bottle caps and the new Tim Holtz tools, Chipboard and the Scraparatus alphabet dies.

I will try and get some images up here tomorrow of the new BamPop papers because you just have to see them. I have some party photos that might just work with these.

I think that is all the good stuff for today but there should be more later this week.

The Purple Zone

Why The Purple Zone? Because purple has always been my favourite colour. All shades of purple, lilac, lavender, etc. It was one of those things you just don't notice, one day you wake up and realise half your wardrobe is a shade of purple. I used to be very anti-pink, I don't know why, but that changed when I had a daughter. We very strangely end up wearing pink at the same time - no we don't plan it. Pink is her favourite colour but I still favour Purple given the choice.

Also, my husband introduced me to Prince (the music, not the man) and the Purple theme has dominated my life ever since.

We went to one of his recent concerts in London at the 02 Arena (formerly the Millenium Dome). It was amazing, we had 2nd row seats which were fabulous but would have been even better if the stage hadn't been 2ft above my head.

I know, you're not supposed to take photos. This was taken with a phone camera so the quality is not great (you wouldn't know that is Prince and Maceo unless I told you). The guy in front of us had a proper camera and took loads of photos, occasionally they told him to stop but security didn't really seem to care and no one took his camera away.
I would have loved to have the Stamp Addicts uniform in Purple but not everyone loves or looks good in Purple so we went with blue.
Anyhoo I can be as Purple as I like on here so if you don't like Purple you have been warned.

Bank Holiday Monday

Have you got sunshine?
We have a little bit peeking through the clouds so maybe it will be a nice day. Go out and enjoy your day off.
Tomorrow I will try and upload some artwork for you to look at.
