Bride to be

It would seem that wedding season will soon be upon us. We have lots of people coming into the shop recently looking to make wedding invitations.

Here are two ideas using the same stamp. This one is very simple and very elegant. The Bride has been stamped and embossed in silver onto a cream card. There is a slight colour wash of pink over the image. The creased card has also been stamped and embossed in silver.

For this card the background has been created first using Niji Watercolour paints, they have been swirled across the card and allowed to dry. Once the paint had dried the bride was stamped over the top with black stazon. She was then masked and then Letter to France script was stamped over the top.

To highlight her dress a waterbrush was used to wet areas of the bride and then it was dabbed with some kitchen towel, this removed some of the paint creating the highlight.

The white creased card has been stamped with Architectural Studies.
