Pacific Train

This train stamp has so much detail on it looking at the rubber you don't think it will work but it stamps beautifully.

Vintage Car

Our Transport sheet is what Michele used to create this card but the Best Wishes stamp is from the Lych Gate sheet. The car has come out a little greener in the photo than the actual card but I still think it looks fab.

Lych Gate

We challenged Design Team member Esther with the Lych Gate set of stamps and I think you'll agree that she came up with some beautiful samples. The oval on the centre card has been coloured with Promarkers and then covered with Diamon Glaze.

Live on TV

I do feel like I've been neglecting my blog recently, I just keep forgetting to upload photos for posting as we have been so busy recently with travelling to shows and now this morning we are live on Create & Craft @ 11am with Nigel.

We have also been working on new designs, but I've had to stop this for a few days as I learnt on Monday I now need glasses for close work so I am waiting until I have those before I continue. It is obviously a week for me to feel a little older - my husband turned 40 on Sunday and then Monday I was told I need glasses. Now I know 40 is no age at all (and I will be there in a couple of years) but I often forget I am no longer in my 20's, until something or someone reminds me.

Anyway, I hope you get to watch our show today, it looks like it is on again at 6pm tonight and I'm sure it will be repeated again tomorrow at some point.

Whilst we are working on new designs if you have any particular images or themes you would like us to work on please let us know and we will try and incorporate them into our next release.

Purple Sunset

What could be better than relaxing with a nice glass of wine and watching a purple sunset? Especially if it is somewhere warm!

Another one of Brenda's fab creations for our live TV show on Create & Craft on Thursday.

Scenic Tiles

To create these tiles stamp and colour your images onto one large piece of card and then cut into equal squares. When dry take one tile and cover with Embossing Ink and then Amazing Glaze, heat until the powder melts and then cover with another layer of Amazing Glaze. Repeat this process for 2 or 3 layers to give you a smooth raised finish.

Sunset

or is it a sunrise? Brenda created this card using our Scenic Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet. After stamping the scene onto glossy cardstock Brenda has then cut it into three panels to give this a framed window look. Also note the small circle containing the church.

Lych Gate

Lesley made this card using our Lych Gate Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet and colouring with Distress Inks and Cut n Dry foam.
A Lych Gate is a gateway covered with a roof found at the traditional entrance of an English churchyard so is also ideal for wedding cards.

Lesley created this card using both Jumbos on our Jumbo Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet. I think he looks so sad but yet is so adorable.

New Easter Chicks

Today is another gloriously sunny day in Bedford, we may even have a high of 10 degrees today!

Lesley made this card using our new Easter Greetings Unmounted rubber stamp sheet. This is glossy cardstock that has been die cut with the egg shape. The eggs stamped on the front of the card were stamped using Marvy Matchables and some of them were masked.

Artstamps @ Chepstow

Good morning and welcome to a sunny Monday morning

Today we still have some clearing up to do from our fab cardmaking weekend, I think our 18 ladies managed to achieve 16 cards over the course of the weekend and hopefully they also took a lot of inspiration away with them and a few new techniques.

We now need to concentrate on getting ready for the Artstamps Exhibition in Chepstow this Saturday. We will have all our new unmounted stamps with us and will be running a Make & Take as well so please stop by and say hi.

Remember you can order from us before the show and collect on the day, don't forget your Membership Keyfob.

This is what we made yesterday in the March Project Club. Our Tiara and Thoughful fairies on on translucent shrink plastic and coloured with chalk pencils. The shrunken heart and arch I coloured with Brushables for a slightly stronger colour.

This one I coloured with yellow and orange chalk pencils.
