Red Robin

A little Robin red breast to brighten your day.

Tree of Shirts

This is a shop window in Zurich of a clothes shop.

I loved the way they created their tree out of tiny little folded shirts and teddy bears.

Giant Chocolate

I am only just over 5ft but this is still the biggest bar of chocolate I have ever held - wouldn't fancy trying to take a bite!

Pablo On Ice

In case you needed something to get you in the wintery mood here is Pablo on Ice, a particular favourite of my friend Alex in Switzerland.

Brenda

This card has been in our shop for our while and so many people have asked me how to create this look.

If you are reading this Brenda perhaps you could enlighten us

Brenda has replied to let me know:

The base piece was randomly distressed with three Distress colours (lemonade, lilac and peacock feathers) and spritzed with glimmer mist (pearl I imagine) to bleed and blend the colours a little. I then use a black pen to create the individual sections (all random and you can't really do this bit wrong), then I mask the sections one by one to stamp with black ink.

Swarovski Christmas Tree

This tree is in the Christmas Market in Zurich, if you zoom in you can see each one of those ribbons has a Swarovski Snowflake on the end - it is breathtaking.

Polycolour Rodney

Lesley created this card using Rodney, stamping him onto kraft card and colouring with Polycolour pencils.

Copper Cottage

DT member Chris made these gorgeous cards by stamping onto metal and then embossing the images with a ball tool. 

Thatched House Layered

This is another one I made on the C&C show, this time with our Thatched House and colouring with ProMarkers.  I have created 2 extra layers of the trees and shrubbery which has been layered on with Pinflair Glue Gel.

Field of Poppies

These are the small Poppies masked and created into a border which is layered over the top of our Scenic stamp.

Thatched House with AquaMarkers

Poppies with Pan Pastels

This is one of the cards I made on C&C last week using our Poppies and colouring with Pan Pastels and a paper stump.  For the red background I stamped the same poppies in Versamark and covered with Pan Patels.

Black Shrink Plastic

I made this card using our set of 2 Butterflies. 

I stamped the large butterfly in white Brilliance onto black shrink plastic.  Brilliance does not dry on the shrink until you have shrunk it so you need to be careful when cutting out so as not to smudge the design.

I used the same white inkpad to stamp the small butterfly onto the black card.

Jolly Bear

Meet our Jolly Bear, he is friendly, playful and loves children.

Embossing on Vellum

Another one from Craft Clinic.

They gave me some Tent Cards to use and this is one of the samples.  Unfortunately I gave the other away to a viewer so don't have a picture.

I stamped and embossed the butterfly onto vellum using very bright pigment inkpads.  I then covered with JudiKins Pastel embossing powder which pearlises and softens the colour of the ink (as you can see).

I stamped the small butterflies with Versamagic inkpads.

Lady Crawford

This is another card from our Paper Clinic.

This time I embossed the window onto vellum using a clear inkpad and white embossing powder.

I coloured the back of the vellum with a Versamagic inkpad.

I stamped Lady Crawford in Grey Memento and coloured with just two Promarkers.

Our Etched Flourish is stamped in the background using the same grey Memento inkpad.

Foxy

This is our relatively new Foxy stamp.

3D Poppy

This is the Poppy card that Vicky made with our 3D flower stamps by stamping onto paper, distressing and then screwing up the paper, before smoothing out and layering onto the card.

The background stamp is from our Vintage No.1 set.

Butterflies

If you saw our Paper Clinic show on Create & Craft on Monday you would have seen me make these two cards.

The top card has 2 shrink plastic butterflies, both coloured with Versamagic, white shrink coloured on the front and translucent shrink coloured on the back.

The second card is the butterfly embossed on Window Plastic (heat embossable acetate) and coloured on the back with inkpads and Diamond Glaze.  The small butterfly in the background come with the large stamp and has been stamped with white Brilliance.

Flourish

This is our new Etched Flourish, the reflection of the flourish in our Emma set.

Butterflies

I am dream of spring and summer, flowers and butterflies.

On this card the large butterfly is the main feature but in the background is the small butterfly that comes in the set of 2 - available online here.

Christmas Cardmaking Quickie

I have decided to run a 3 hour class on Saturday 17th November making quick Christmas cards.  So if you have yet to make your Christmas cards and are unable to join us for one of our Christmas Cardmaking Weekends this is for you.

As seen on TV

These are two of the cards Vicky and I made on TV on Tuesday, unfortunately I don't have photos of the other two as they were posted out to viewers.  I apologise for my shockingly bad photography today.

If you missed the show the top card is coloured with Promarkers and the bottom card is coloured with Pan Pastels.  The show is being repeated at midnight tonight.
