Stamping in Holland

Julie and I have just spent a weekend in Holland at the ArtSpecially stamping show in Zeist.  Our neighbour was Michael Strong from San Diego, California.  I met Mike several years ago and have attended one of his workshops, he is super clever with his stamps and a very funny man so if you ever get a chance you should join one of his make & takes or workshops.

Because we could drive to Holland we decided to only take things that would go in the boot of my car, so we tried the table top style stand, which was a little longer than I expected (about 8m).

Just before we arrived at the venue the SatNav decided to take us down a residential road, where there were gorgeous big houses and one of them had a thatched roof, which apparently is very rare in Holland.  Anyway at the show 2 of our biggest sellers were our Thatched House and Thatched Cottage along with our You're not old Turtle and Gorillas.

The weather was glorious while we were there but there was not one tulip to be seen anywhere as the weather has been too cold there too.

We had great fun at the show and are hoping we can go back next year.
