As you can see our new TV show is all about Animals. So your challenge is to make a card with the following theme - If you could be any animal which one would you be?
Deadline is Friday 27th February and the Prize is a set of 4 unmounted sheets of brand new designs that won't be available to buy until the end of March (I can't post up pics of these stamps as we are keeping them top secret for now). Challenge rules are on the left - and you've got lots of animals to choose from across all these ranges. Post your cards here and I will keep this post at the top of the page.

This is the card Vicky made using the Essentials set and a small Frazzled Cat. Tear a piece of masking tape and lay it on card. Stamp Grass Tuft and Hay Pile across the edge of the masking tape to create the hilly garden. Stamp flower heads onto top of grass. Use the Snowflake to create flowers by either stamping several times and only moving very slightly or pressing down firmly - both options will create a different look. Don't forget to use your Millenium pen to create the Bee trail.
This is one that I made on the show with Medium Griz, Party Hat and the Solid Balloon stamp. To make it easier I stuck the hat on afterwards but you could stamp the hat first and then mask and stamp Griz underneath. Use the Millenium pen to draw the balloon string and the border around the card. I used a grey pen to outline bear and make him pop off the white card.
Vicky made this card using the Frog set. Again she did some masking, this time stamping and masking the frog and then placing the Lily pad under the frog.
I made this one using the Frazzled Cat Set and the Hat with Ribbon, as with the Griz card I have added the hat afterwards. I started by stamping the 2 smaller cats first and then masking them and stamping Med Frazzled Cat so he appears to be behind them. Coloured with Brushables.
Well this is the last card I was supposed to make on the show but we ran out of time. It is very simple in technique as it is just basic stamping, stamp Puppy and Doghouse, stamp some Grass Tufts around and then place flower head over grass and colour. Stamp haypile in green for grass. The little Solid Heart stubby was used to create the butterfly - stamp 2 hearts with points touching and then draw in body with Millenium pen. All images are coloured with Brushables.
Stamps by Judith Medium Frazzled Cat, Fish Stubby, Spriglet Stubby, Grass tuft and Dots Stubby. And don't forget the Millenium pen for trails and borders. Michele has created the look of a the bowl by masking the shape and sponging inside the mask.
Stamps by Judith Puppy stamp. Stamp the first puppy and then mask and stamp the other puppies around him. The background is stamped with the Bone Stubby, Woof Stubby and Paw Print Stick. Puppy, Doghouse, Grass Tuft. Artwork by Michele Rodgers.
This is Medium Frazzled Cat. In the bowl Gillian has used the Fish stubby stamp and Grass Tuft and the background of the card is the Fish Bones Stubby stamp. The glass of the bowl has been covered with Diamond Glaze for the raised glossy finish. Medium Frazzled Cat and the Solid Rose Stubby are what make this cat tango. Artwork by Gillian Fitzmaurice for the new Judith's Animals show.
A big thank you to all of you that voted for us in the Cardmaking & PaperCraft awards as we won Retailer of the Year East Anglia, I think for possibly the 3rd year in a row.
Your support is much appreciated.
Have you visited our store recently? During one of our 'Snow Days' we took advantage of the quiet time to re-arrange the store layout and so far all our visitors have said it is a big improvement. So come and see for yourself and let us know what you think of our new layout. And obviously all the new products that we have arriving weekly.
My Little Shoebox papers will be arriving on Monday so we are now taking pre-orders on our website.

Again mainly Stamps by Judith Stamps. If you are planning to pop into the store and see us over the next couple of days we have lots of In Store Specials available.
We were lucky enough to have Kay Carley demonstrating at Stamperama Stevenage for us last week. Here are a couple of Kay's cards, more to follow. These are all made with the Stamps by Judith range of stamps and the Printworks Dotted Swoosh.
This morning we filmed our brand new show for Create & Craft - Judith's Animals. Using some of the Stamps by Judith stamps. We got there just after 8 this morning but unfortunately the Director was delayed so we couldn't start filming until 10am. But all went well and we filmed the show in one take.
It was due to go on air Saturday 21st Feb but there is now going to be a Craft Weekend on IW & C&C so we have been bumped to Friday 20th Feb.
The Design Team did a great job with the artwork and I will start posting up some sneaky peaks later in the week.
