Cardiff

This morning we are loading the van and then hitting the road for Cardiff. I've never been to Cardiff and I hear there is a big scary bridge on the way there so fingers crossed for calm weather and no wind, if you've ever been in a van on a windy day you will understand why.

This the Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts show which is on from Thursday through to Saturday 9.30am-5pm at the Cardiff International Arena.

If you are coming to see us at the show don't forget your Stamp Addicts Membership keyfob for your discount.

If you are local to our shop don't forget you can drop in on Friday and make a fabulous Halloween card.

All About Mimi

If you missed it the first time you can catch All About Mimi on Create & Craft on Wednesday 22nd October at 8pm and again on Saturday 1st November at 10am.

I was doing my bit for the economy today, apparently we all need to spend money so I did a little bit of online shopping. I have been waiting for about 2 months to get a Wii Fit and finally managed to find one today so it should be delivered later this week and then we can get on and have some fun while trying to get fit!

I did also buy a new Kipling bag but it was a necessity as it is to wear at the shows, its the handbag that turns into a waist bag. Kay Carley wears one at the show and Vicky thought it was such a good idea that we should get them too, we've known several exhibitors have their handbags stolen at the shows so it is the safest option.

I hope you enjoyed the All About Mimi show, we are looking to film one using Stamps by Judith but the hardest part is choosing which stamps.

I have added a couple of cards from Stamps by Judith to our Projects section and you can buy these stamps online, but they won't be on there for long as we are not allowed to keep the stamps on our website, so get them while you can.

The Quickutz that we have at 60% off is selling out fast so don't hesitate and buy today because when its gone its gone for good.

Mini-Mag No. 3

Yes, I managed to finish it yesterday so today we begin the task of printing the third edition of our Mini-Mag. This one, like the previous one, has lots of Stamps by Judith artwork as well as the All About Mimi show products.

This issue does have lots of information so when you receive your copy make sure you sit down with a cup of tea and a biscuit and relax while you carefully read through it - you don't want to miss anything like the Halloween Card Make & Take, Christmas Shopping Evening and I'm sure you're not really interested but the Sale dates are also in there.

A couple of people have requested the mini-mag by email but I must admit I'm not that technologically advanced yet but I will work on it and see if we can save a few more trees.

Have you visited our website recently, I've added quite a few products to the Clearance section. There is 40% off most Heidi Swapp and 60% off most Quickutz but these are only valid while stocks last so hurry.

All About Mimi - New Show

Well I hope you got to watch the new show this morning. I managed to sneak back to bed and watch it on my laptop as we haven't received our copy yet - it actually turned out better than I thought and it didn't look as rushed as it felt. It has been a long time since we've been able to squeeze 6 demonstrations into a show but as you could see we had already prepared all the boring stuff.

It is a possibility this week that we might be mailing out the next mini-mag, I've nearly finished it.

When I woke up at 6am this morning (why?) I looked out the window and it was really foggy but didn't it turn into the most beautiful sunny and warm day. But according to my weather gizmo that was it for the sunny spell and the next few days will be foggy followed by rain - sorry to disappoint.
